About Friends of Chester County

Friends of Chester County is a non-partisan, non-profit community membership organization, originally founded in 2019. Your membership funds community mixer events and our other community-focused events. We offer local events and workshops focused on promoting small enterprise in Chester County.

We believe that most people in Chester County, like most Americans, think that our political system could be working better. We believe that the best way to improve our politics is to make it more responsive to middle class concerns by elevating the voice and influence of more “community stakeholders”. These stakeholders are commonly small and mid-sized businesses, but can also be churches or other non-profits and community organization.
